WebHomeCare Solutions was conceived through the development of a home care agency beta site, a fully functional home care agency dedicated to providing all the features needed to develop WebHomeCare Solutions software. The beta site was initially conceived of by its founders as an opportunity for providing aging family members with high quality, experienced and compassionate care supported by a technologically advanced platform.
Through its day to day services, the beta site founders became aware of the lack of cutting edge, user-friendly software to aid in supporting home care agencies. Personal experience in caring for the elderly convinced the beta site founders of the growing need for streamlined, flexible and reliable home care agency software. Frequent server issues led to interruptions in the agency work, so the creation of a more easily accessible web-based software became even more critical.
Development of a web-based software that we felt provided the features necessary to address the needs of our business became essential as we recognized the limitations of existing software on the market. The features of the existing software on the market were not as robust as they claimed to be. We needed software that could provide web-based services accessible without reliance on a server. For example, although most software claimed to process payroll, it was not available for processing directly on the web. So instead of trying to adjust our business needs to the limitations of the features and capabilities of the software, we decided to create a software product that was more flexible and would address the true needs of a home health care agency. Through practical experience and the technical expertise of its founder, WebHomeCare Solutions was developed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing field of home care agencies in search of a fast, easy-access web-based platform, no server needed. All documents can now be readily accessed and forms generated and even payroll run through an easy to use web-based home care management site.
